With special concentration in orthopedics of the hand and upper extremities, Dr. Greatting also provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment in general orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Greatting received his medical education and orthopedic surgery residency training through SIU School of Medicine. He then completed a hand surgery fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN. He is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and currently serves on the Springfield Clinic board of directors.
