Physical therapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing your quality of life and movement potential within the physical, psychological, emotional and social well-being. In additional to traditional physical therapy services, our expanded services also include specialists in occupational, hand and speech therapy.
As part of Springfield Clinic's team, our rehabilitation providers collaborate closely with the physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants to supplement the medical treatment they deliver.
Physical therapy is performed by either a licensed physical therapist (PT) or an assistant (PTA) acting under the direction of the PT. Physical therapists see patients in consultation and upon referral by the physicians at the Orthopedic Group at Springfield Clinic. Our rehabilitation services team also includes occupational and speech/language therapists. The staff is widely versed in the treatment of many common physical therapy disorders, as well as many specialized areas not seen in most clinics. Springfield Clinic's team of experienced and versatile therapists will work with you toward the goal of a healthy and successful outcome.
